Halle had a fever today again. Third day in a row. Today it got to 104.6 so I took her to the doctor. Turns out she has ear infections in both ears. :( I knew putting her in daycare would result in more illness, but I'm starting to wonder how fair it is to her that she's going to be suffering all the time. :( We'll stick it out a little longer, but if she keeps getting sick over and over again, I'm probably going to go back to working at home (and working late nights). Sigh. She'll be on amoxycilin for 10 days, and can't go back to daycare until her fever breaks. Couldn't have come at a worse week, work-wise, but we'll get through it. Now that she has Tylenol, Motrin and Amoxycilin in her system, she's actually back to her happy self. Hopefully the worst is behind her.
Anyone else noticing the bad luck going around? Keri, Erica and I are all due for some good news and good luck soon!

It totally does stink to have them build up their immunities. But Leah has not had ONE ear infection since she we moved here and she started going to the gym daycare and school. I attribute that to her building up those immunities when she was a baby and in daycare full-time.

Leah had a lot of ear infections in daycare too. Dont know what it is...if they're all healthy going in, how do they all end up sick? I dont feel like we were ultra sanitary at home, but who knows. Sorry to hear about it though. It was definitely hard. Halle's tough though.
