Confirmed Yet Again - She's an Orange on a Toothpick

Halle had her 18 month checkup today. She's in the 60th percentile for height and 30th for weight. She measured in at 32 inches tall, and an ounce shy of 24 pounds. Oh, and did I mention that she has the head circumference of a 3 year old? 30th percentile in weight, 150th in head circumference. She'll be crying herself to sleep tonight on her huge pillow.

There are two things Halle has been confusing lately that crack me up. The first one is actually a two-part confusion. Whenever she sees butterflies in a book, she holds the book up to her nose and blows her nose on them. For a long time, she's been sniffing flowers in books. Somehow she decided she wanted to start sniffing butterflies too, and since she loves to blow her nose, she transformed the sniffing into blowing. So, yeah. Halle blows her nose on butterflies. :)

The second thing is confusing "line" for "lion." Since she's been drawing circles so well, I've been trying to show her lines now. But whenever I ask her to draw a line, she roars. It's so adorable.

On a completely unrelated note, Leah looks SO beautiful in the pictures from when she met Erin! What a gorgeous girl! :)

Ty just had his 15 month appt (yes, he is 17 months). With all the moving we had kind of put it off. He was 34 inches (95%) and 23 pounds (25%) and his head was at 50%. She needs all that room in her head because she is so smart! Ty is still not talking! Love your blog!

That is too funny. Zach used to confuse butterflies and flowers too. Everytime he saw a flower he would call it a butterfly.

I'm glad Halle is growing well. She is such a little smartie her body can't catch up with her brain :-)

Halle is like Bambi, when he was calling the flowers butterflies. That is so funny, the nose blowing thing.

Leah has done so well with Erin. She is always gentle and loving. But now Leah wants Mommy to do everything for her and doesn't want anyone else to help. That part is not so easy.
