My first Sewing Wednesday project is complete! I'm pretty proud of my simple little tote bag, although apparently I'm not as good at following directions as I thought I was. I got through all the steps and thought my bag would magically be done when I flipped it inside out only to realize I clearly missed some critical steps. Luckily it was all stuff I could do at the end without a problem, so it still got done and it still looks pretty cute! :) I can't wait to start another project next week!

Oh, Happy Day! :)
My new camera is FINALLY here! I had been looking forward to its arrival all day, and I was pretty bummed around 8:30 tonight when it still wasn't here. At that point, I figured I wouldn't have it for Halle's first trip to the zoo tomorrow, and that would've stunk. But then, just before 9pm, UPS guy shows up with the camera. Sweet! Which was also perfect timing for taking this pic...
