..... A girl!! What else would a Konicki have? (For those who don't know, Jason's brother has two girls, Jason's sister has two girls, and now Jason will have two girls!). A whole lotta estrogen in this family. But how fun it will be for these girls to grow up together! :)
I can finally stop buying gender neutral everything and embrace the pink!
I'm very excited. I would have been very excited either way, of course. As you can see, she's beautiful and very photogenic. And completely healthy too. I'm in love with her already!
As of today, the name of this beautiful little girl is Elena Nicole. We've gone back and forth on a few names, so who knows if this will end up on her birth certificate, but I couldn't sleep last night and spent a lot of time thinking about it, and I just love the name Elena Nicole. Not because I'm naming her after me, although I guess I am, but I just love the names and I love the way they sound together. And I've always wanted to name a girl Elena. And I like that its not a trendy name, it is a family name, and it just sounds like the name of a beautiful girl. :)
Ok.. time to go shopping!
