For those of you who don't read Erica's blog, Erica and I have decided to start sewing together on Wednesday nights. Last week Erica brought me some of her sewing books and I picked out a really simple tote bag as my starter project. Then we went to the fabric store and I got some cute fabric for my bag. Last night I went to her house and got started on the project. It was so much fun. I can't even tell you how nice it was to get out of the house alone and do something for myself. The sewing went pretty well too! I'm excited to finish my bag and pick a new project to work on next week. I think I might attempt to sew myself a Halloween costume! Granted, its going to be a simple costume, but I'm excited anyway. And I have some great ideas for Christmas gifts, so I'm excited about that too. This is just one of many, many reasons I love having Erica in Brevard. I'm so glad you moved here, Erica!! :)
I'll be sure to post a pic of my new tote bag once I've finished it! :)

That sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to see the pictures. I really need to find something to do for myself too.
Sewing is something I wish I could do. If it goes well, you guys have to teach me some stuff.
